Following our successes at the Metropolitan Regatta and Marlow Regatta, our crews were ready to take Henley.

Henley marks the end of the regatta season for many of our crews and is a highlight of the rowing calendar. Raced along the River Thames, this prestigious event brings crews from all around the world to compete. With our two women's crews racing at Henley Women's Regatta and our three men's crews racing at Henley Royal Regatta, we were set for an exciting few weeks.

Entering two eights, our women performed well in the time trials with our top eight qualifying and the second eight falling short by just four seconds. We came against the University of Bristol in the quarter-finals and after a strong race proceeded on to the semi-finals. Here we met the eventual winners of the regatta, Newcastle University. Although close up to the line, the Newcastle ladies beat us to the mark. We'll be back next year!!

We entered 3 crews to Henley Royal Regatta, a pair, a coxless four and a quad. Qualifiers were tough and our boys put in a strong performance with the coxless four as the fastest non-qualifiers in their category but unfortunately no crews made it any further. An exciting day of racing nevertheless, especially for our quad who had limited outings before racing!

We now look forward to seeing our women's and men's coxless four's racing in Croatia at the European University Sports Association Regatta. Follow us on twitter for live updates following their progress up to the regatta.

Many thanks to all who supported our Henley campaign this year, special thanks to PaySafe and CTM.
