On the 4th & 5th June, crews from UoNBC raced at the Metropolitan Regatta.

The event is held at Dorney Lake, which hosted the 2012 Olympic Games. This was great experience for all involved and proved to be an exciting day of racing.

With five crews racing, it was a busy weekend for the club. The lightweight men's coxless four were triumphant with an impressive and relaxed row cruising away from a heavyweight Molesey crew in the final.

Our top women's eight entered the Grand Eights Challenge, giving them the chance to race against higher status crews. A strong performance put them in 6th overall, winning their status by a clear 8 seconds!

We had hard fought races in the other crews with the women's IM3 eight racing above their status, the scratch women's IM3 coxed four providing strong competition for the other crews and our men's double taking 3rd place.

A very impressive weekend for all that raced.
